Anyone know how to change headlights?!?

It's a Ford Escort, 2001 if that helps! Just wondering if anyone knows how to change the headlights on it. I'm sure it's pretty simple, but we can't figure it out :X. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!Anyone know how to change headlights?!?
Fords unscrew like a half twist and it's out now get a cloth and take the old one out of the connector and when you put the new one in do not touch the bulb with your fingers use the rag and take your time and don't force it. YOU CAN DO IT O. B. ONE

Set the bulb back in and give it a twist the other way, O.K listen and pay attention

Righty is tighty = on turning the object on

lefty is loosey = off turning the object off

open the hood and replace them from the back. They may have %26quot;stuff%26quot; in the way and on some you need to remove the headlight assembly completely but not likely on an Escort.Anyone know how to change headlights?!?
Steph they have different types of head lights.I believe in the 01 Escort that you have the plug in type. You may be able to access it from the two screws in front of the head light. It may be a phillips head screw. If you start to back them out you should be able to see the assembly come loose from the frame. If there is a bulb in it. While replacing the bullb don't touch it. It will cause the bulb to burn out quicker from the oil on your hands.Anyone know how to change headlights?!?
Look in Chiltons Auto Repair Manual at the library. You can buy Chiltons for under $20 at parts stores. It will tell you how to do this and many other maintenance proceedures. If you don't want to do the job yourself, get it done at the cheapest shop you can find- it's not rocket science. The dealer will charge you their rate, about $100/hr and too much for the part, probably 2 or 3 times what it costs at the run of the mill auto parts store like Pep Boys or Kragen. I've even seen them for sale at Walgreens- cheap. Ford tried to charge my sister $60 to change a headlight. I'm glad she asked me about it. The Big Three want a bailout? HAH!

When I'm not sure I can do a car job, I go to the junkyard and try on a wreck. I learn how there, the next guy who needs the parts finds them already loose, but in place because I put them back, but not tight, and all the parts are there if I don't need to buy them. If I can't do the job, I don't mess up mine or somebody else's car trying.
