How do I change out the headlights on a 2006 Nissan Titan?

I just bought some brighter lights for my Titan and I can't figure out where to start on switching them out with the old ones. It looks like I'm going to have to take a lot of it apart to get to them. Anybody able to help me with this?How do I change out the headlights on a 2006 Nissan Titan?

Those plastic trim cover under the lights may break taking them off if you don't know how to remove them grill work has to be removed seven square 1/4 with screwdriver slots and 2' long screwdriver and flashlight to release the grill if your skinny armed and double jointed you can remove the 2 ten millimeter bolts under each head light and the other ones you see on the inside top and behind the inner fender liners. A body shop or Nissan Technician who has had the front ends off of a Titan is who I would get to replace those lights. I read the owners manual, but it states to take it to the dealer, which I refuse to do for a simple bulb change. Does anyone know how exactly to do it? Take the wheel off the side with the burnt out bulb. Next pull the 6 plastic rivets out of the front fender well shield. Take the screw out of the shield above the 3 rivets along the inside of the fender edge, Pull the shield back starting at the top where it's tucked under the back portion of the liner shield. Unscrew the top plastic cover, twist the connector counter clockwise and pull it off the bulb. Then unclip the bulb and pull the bulb out noting the groove position for reinstalling the new bulb in the housing.

There is nothing simple about your bulb change. The dealer price of the bulb is around $245.00.

The other day, (this was in my 02 Stang) I had a hell of a time putting new bulbs in. Come to find out, there were TWO metal clips in the back top of where the headlights are. If this is the same as you have, pop them out/up, and pull forward your lights. My friend actually showed me; I felt so stupid! If it's like most headlights, open the hood and look at the back of the casing. There should be a large knurled knob that encircles the wires leading to the bulb. If you rotate that CCW the socket should pull out with the bulb in it. Remember don't touch the new bulb with bare hands, if you do, clean it with rubbing alcohol. The oil from your skin will make a new bulb burn out pronto. Bring the old bulb to the auto parts store they will match it up. If there is moisture in the headlight assembly your bulb will not last. I had to change out the whole assembly with a new one from Ford. If not then just twist the headlight an do not touch the new bulb.

That would be very difficult without body modifications. You can buy different style headlights that are made for your make/model. is a bit tricky to take that thing out , is like, push down the metal thing down, then while pushing down the thing pull it to the engine side (like open a door, that movement is what i talking about) and when you do so the bulb will come out easy
